I love to bring the outdoors inside, especially flowers. In New England, the flower season is short, but divine! Dahlias are a family favorite, and last year I visited my father-in-law's garden to photograph the spectacular array of blossoms. I had a hunch a textile design would emerge, and indeed it has! Pompom Dahlias in the house!

My 6-year old son, Jasper, needed quilts for his room, so we started shopping for new ones. A big fan of “The T” (Boston’s subway system), Jasper had high hopes for some big trains. Nothing was quite right, so he and I designed our own! After some sketches and train station visits, we reached our final design. This train is called “Big Trolley”!
